Came across another cool home recorded VHS cassette last night.
It was a presentation of the movie "The List of Adrian Messenger" broadcast on A&E in the days immediately preceding November 27, 1992. There were seven commercial breaks and I will innumerate each individual set of spots below:
Commercial Break 1: MetLife, Dove chocolate bars, promo for "Time Machine" (The Future That Never Happened), Ziploc freezer bags, Pepto-Bismol, Iams.
Commercial Break 2: Perdium, Volume Cruises International, Sunny Delight, the September issue of Arts & Entertainment magazine, promo for "American Justice" (The Birth of the Mafia.)
Commercial Break 3: Sheba cat food, another MetLife commercial-this one featuring Charlie Brown, Lucy and Snoopy; promo for "Investigative Reports" (Bad Cops), AT&T.
Commercial Break 4: Advil, Pro C irons, promo for premier of mini-series "Framed", Friskies, a PSA urging employers to fire employees (a female used as an example in this case) on drugs.
Commercial Break 5: Simply Kudos, Pert Plus, Sprint.
Commercial Break 6: "The Jewel in the Crown" on video, NordicFlex Gold, general promo for the channel.
Commercial Break 7: Maalox, Yoplait, Gold Mastercard, promo for "Ancient Mysteries" (Mysteries of the Bible", Choice Hotels.
