This evening I ate a delicious, if somewhat odd, four course dinner in a time when two-course meals, if that, are the norm, especially, I daresay, for a bachelor such as myself.
I started out with the leftover hamburger soup I had the previous night and which I was intending to eat for lunch but never did.
There followed Wednesday night's planned dish, a hitherto untasted quantity of ham and bean soup I got from Mom.
This delectable second soup was followed by carrot salad.
For dessert, it was a piece of apple crumble pie covered in whipped cream.
