Taco Bell is launching a new fiery treat.

The fast food chain is rolling out its new Flamin' Hot Grilled Cheese Burrito, filled with flavor, cheese and spice, per press release shared with PEOPLE on Oct. 16. Available for a limited time, the new burrito combines the classic Taco Bell taste with new innovative flavors.

The Flamin' Hot Grilled Cheese Burrito is made with the brand's all new Flamin' Hot Rice, which is infused with the Flamin' Hot flavor and a seasoning mix of red peppers, cheddar cheese powder, garlic, paprika and lime.

Also layered inside the burrito are nacho cheese sauce, seasoned beef, creamy chipotle sauce, Fritos Flamin' Hot chips, reduced fat sour cream, three cheese blend and melted grilled cheese on the outside for a crisp, crunchy snack.

"We know how much love there is for the signature spice of Flamin’ Hot, and our fans are always looking for cheesier, crunchier menu items from us,” said Taco Bell Global Chief Food Innovation Officer Liz Matthews. “The Flamin’ Hot Grilled Cheese Burrito brings all these elements together – taking the heat, the crispy Fritos crunch, and cheesy goodness on the inside and out of our classic burrito.”

The Flamin' Hot Grilled Cheese Burrito is part of Taco Bell's "innovation-packed" $9 Luxe Cravings Box or à la carte for $5.49 for a limited time.

Cheesy menu items are in high demand at the chain. Taco Bell also recently brought back its Cheesy Street Chalupa on Aug. 14 for a limited time. The hot commodity first appeared on Taco Bell menus in 2024.

Taco Bell's new menu item comes just over two months after it launched Fan Style, an in-app opportunity that let fans create, name and share their customized items and orders.

A select amount of Fan Styles were chosen to be featured on Taco Bell's national menu for a short time this year, based on creativity, originality, name appeal and operational feasibility.

"Our fans know every inch of the Taco Bell menu, so it only makes sense that they help dream up what belongs on it next,” said Taco Bell Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery in a press statement.
