Though I appreciate this film's busting of gender stereotypes when it comes to males in early childhood education, the movie itself is not funny, employs too much foreshadowing and, above all, doesn't make any sense. It would seem daycare space would be at a premium, so Chapman and Daddy Daycare wouldn't have any competition in the first place. Why wouldn't Chapman just make up for the losses by accepting the equivalent number of little ones on their waiting list?
