By Dave Hunt. Eugene, OR: Harvest House Publishers, 1985.
Psychology doesn't work and Christians need to stop being fooled by it.
This book largely tackles the rise of secular psychology in the church. Among other things, the author explodes the myths of self-hatred, low self-esteem, the inner child, and repressed memory. The book is worth it alone for the quotes from therapists admitting therapy doesn't work.
I quite appreciated the fact Hunt was careful to qualify and properly explain what he was saying. This book may tick plenty of people off, but it will also give them much to think about and open their eyes to many snares and dangers true believers in God need to avoid.
