Dear Friends:
Looking forward to seeing everyone this Friday at the Open Mic. We start at 6:30 pm. and go to @10:00 - depending how busy we are. Just a feeling it's going to be a good night. Been hearing from musicians who are coming which is always a positive sign! (: Though we do very well with musicians and now working on audience! So come on out and bring your friends!! Our street is chewed up but lots of parking at Foodland and some right out back of the Legion. From 62 take the back street behind the Circle K - Baldwin right ahead into the Foodland parking lot. Or from #7 take the Wellington St. (Cooper Road) exit into town to Elgin, turn right and then into Foodland.
Jerry is away still but we expect him back next time. So it will be Robert on the sound again this week. I expect to be "with it" a little more this week - since my house will be listed tonight. I'll share when I see it! (:when the listing gets posted on MLS. (The pressure is less with the pictures taken ).
For musicians: We have all the equipment - mics, sound system, PA, even a piano! Just bring yourselves and musical instrument. For the audience - we have the best bartender around, reasonable bar prices, comfy chairs and GREAT local talent. No cover!!
