WOW !! What a crazy week ! I forgot to get my email out to you last night. But here we are - better late than never!
We're listing our home for sale to move into Madoc - and today was the day the Real Estate Agent was coming so I have been madly de-cluttering for the last month. Slightly distracted !!
SO MUCH looking forward to the Open Mic tomorrow night !! Jerry's away so it will be on Robert's and my shoulders to get the sound set up and sounding good.
It's been nearly a month since our last Open Mic - so hope everybody hasn't forgotten us. I have heard of some others possibly coming - so looking forward to that. We'll be there and ready for you.
I also got some sad news today - and hopefully others knew sooner - but Alex's sister Mary died of bowel cancer at the young age of 39 on April 15 - 19 days after she was diagnosed. Mary Horton was at the Open Mic many times. We will miss her sweet smiling face.
So tomorrow we'll make music and hope to have Alex with us doing percussion. (:
Looking forward to seeing friends - and making new friends - tomorrow at Madoc's Open Mic at the Legion 6:30 - 10:00 pm.
