A case of a movie that could have been as good as the book had it a Hollywood budget instead of a Canadian one. As a result, the film misses out on the flashbacks, head scenes and different perspectives of the Matt Cohen novel.
Also, I appreciated the novel being set in the Kingston area a lot more than the movie's being set in Nebraska.
