This well-written article points out a larger problem the blind community in Canada has been having with the so-called Canadian National Institute for the Blind for years.
I would also like to point out that, contrary to what this piece and the CNIB might lead people to think, not every blind person wishes to use a guide dog. I for one really appreciate not having to get up in the middle of the night to put out my cane.
