SEVERAL MORE BLASTS FROM THE PAST

                98.3 CFLY-FM Kingston unknown anncr introducing set of four songs from 1975. Later some "All That Jazz" with Don Robinson.


A tape containing a series of spots for Frankfort Free Methodist Church.


1320 CFGM Toronto from 1986 "Country Concert" featuring Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. Later, into a "Top Ten Weekend", counting down the top ten songs from each year from 1950-1985, doing so by chart position as opposed to year. Wayne Matthews giving time of 2:52.


98.3 CFLY-FM Kingston from a Sunday afternoon Marg Coffey giving time of 2:00 and saying Neil Kirby would be in next.


104.5 CHUM-FM Toronto from June 1984 Melanie Deveau giving time of 12:28 and talking up CHUM-FM top 30 album chart, the program with Roger Bartel Sunday mornings and the chart itself available in the Friday Star. Commercials for OB tampons, Speedy Muffler King and Lowenbrau, then weather forecast. On the other side of the tape, CFNY with Hedley Jones' reggae show, sexy ID from Kristine. Then into regular format.


103.1 CFMX-FM Colburg "Nightwatch" with unknown anncr.


Some dial twisting on the FM band to kick off the tape, followed by a few minutes of jockless Country 59 (CJCL-FM) Toronto with canned ID, then the rest of the tape consisted of the air traffic control from Pierson. It kind of sounded as if the air traffic controller was talking to himself.


Kiss 98.5 (WKSE-FM) Buffalo from 1998 Deejay Anthony in the middle of an eleven song kiss-a-thon, mentioned Pickle Your Sauce Off coming up next Sunday. Later, "Top Ten at 10:00", sponsored by Tanning Bed with the tanning letter of the day and Brother's Gourmet Coffee (the official coffee of the Kiss morning show with Janet, Nick and Weeze.) Made fun of Shy Sean's headphones.


800 CJBQ Belleville from October 5, 2008 9 a.m. newscast with Jennifer Lester followed by commercial for Carl Cox RV, then community events with Steve Marlin: annual toy run, Ameliasburgh Fall Fair, Tweed and area studio tour, Friends of the Frink Centre Fall Activity Day. Then into "Jim Right's Classic Country Sunday." Giving away tickets to the Trent Valley Country Jamboree. Country music at the Actinolite Hall featuring Sid Prescott, Hooked on Anica at the Empire Theatre, 20th birthday dedication for Andy Ferguson. On the other side of the tape, Matt Mitchell's morning show from October 3, 2008 from approximately 8:23-8:33. Took qualifiers for the cruise and said draw would be at 8:45 with Lorne. Talked about Roseneath Fall Fair. Commercials for Hildon Homes, Peter Smith Chevrolet, Smitty's Appliances, and Leon's. Promo for "The Lorne Brooker Show." 8:30 newscast with Bill Holland.


CBC Radio "Saturday Night Blues" with Holger Peterson featuring Rita Chiarelli concert recorded at the previous November's Women's Blues Review. Then Holger talked about memorabelia before the extro to the first hour. Beginning of program announcement with Lorna Jackson. Then into Sunday night jazz program hosted by Katie Malik featuring the music of Earl Hines. On the other side of the tape, "Arts National" on CBC Stereo featuring a concert by Korean pianist Ju He-Tsu.


1050 CHUM Toronto John Majkar giving time of 6:32 and frontselling song. On the other side of the tape, "Brave New Waves" on CBC Stereo spotlight on Johnny Thunders.
