INTERESTING AUDIO

An audiotape letter from December 2, 1990 from a family in Malta to friends or relatives in Canada. Husband and wife George and Marika with children Roberto and Katriona, who had just started to walk. After the letter, there followed an aircheck from Radio Malta featuring Norman Hamilton.

An answering machine tape with outgoing messages on both sides. On the first side, the wife of the guy who gave me all these tapes I've been logging on here, on the other side an older woman, possibly her mother.

A tape of reggae music featuring announcements by two young men about a calypso party taking place in the cafeteria that Wednesday evening at 8:30. Sounded as if it were an office party.

TV audio featuring parts of commercials, one for Oil of Olay and one for Ultra Joy.

A motivational tape from 1982, Denis Waitley "The Ten Seeds of Greatness" produced by Listen and Learn.

Audio from what I believe is the TV Ontario "Saturday Night at the Movies" presentation of "The Jolson Story" and "Jolson Sings Again" featuring the songs from those films. On the other side of the tape, a brief excerpt of a female sportscaster reading scores before going back to the Al Jolson biopics.

Channel 4 CBC Ottawa (CBOT-TV) with an after school special called "Drink, Drank, Drunk", followed by station ID and commercials for Pure Spring ginger ale, the Four Seasons Sheraton Toronto and Philips electronics.

An elderly couple and their friend Bob. The old man was trying to convince Bob to sing a song.
