Dear Friends:
Writing from my new home in Madoc. Yup we've moved into town and never planning to have to move again!! 😳
Some say Madoc's Open Mic is the ONLY night life in Madoc - but I know the Kiwanis Club often puts on dances and the Firehall has regular Karaoke opposite weekends to us. The Tuesday Muse meets on a regular basis and the Legion has DARTS open to the public every Thursday night - beginning again in September. Also Finn's was having a Trivia night last Wednesday when we and the crew went in for supper after packing 3 trucks on a hot day.
So we definitely are NOT the only night life around.
BUT we may have some of the BEST Live Local talent on a regular basis around. And we always have fun doing it. (: As all of you know because you have been there! And we're reliably every other Friday night 6:30 to @10:00. Musicians and audience - all welcome.
So see you Friday! We have all the musical equipment - just bring yourself (and your instrument - if you're playing).
