RADIO-RELATED STUFF: RADIO IS INDEED IN TERRIBLE SHAPE

Whatever residual hope I might have had that Vista will truly do the right thing by the stations it has purchased     from Bell was dashed today when I caught the news on Moose FM Bancroft. It seemed pretty obvious it was not produced in Bancroft and wasn't even live. In fact, the so-called local news portion of the brief cast didn't even have anything to do with Bancroft.

Checked out all the stations in Ridgecrest, California the other week. The rock station had a cool music selection, but everything else was just pre-recorded local content, automation and syndicated programming. The other stations were much the same.

CJBQ still continues to play the ID mentioning Jim Wright Sunday afternoons even though he wasn't there again the last Sunday I tuned in.

On a slightly less negative note, I'm glad Ear FM in Australia is still on the air but why do they no longer have a website?
