Looking forward to seeing many of you this Friday at the Legion for Madoc's Open Mic. Spring is coming, the weather is getting a little warmer and the days a little longer. This is attracting more people out and people outside of Madoc to make the drive and join in the fun.
I've been hearing from musicians planning to attend and am confident we are coming up for a good one!! :D
I have also been advertising all week that March 8 is also International Women's Day !! The Open Mic is fortunate to have many talented performers including LOTS of women so I have been posting YOUR videos this week. I hope you saw them. (: We appreciate ALL our performers - and the audience too!!
The Madoc Legion Facebook is presently in transition. Be sure to look for Madoc Legion 363 in the future. You will be invited to join or can possibly request to join. We'll know more next time.

As always, we are prepared for you: we have 2 (or 3) mics, a music stand, 2 monitors, remote plug ins, and a PA system with Jerry Whyte on the sound board to make sure your sound is what it should be. (:
Just coming home from the Longtooth Open Mic tonight which is always great !! And ours is too!! A different sort of atmosphere at the Madoc Legion - but comfortable and friendly and it's in Madoc - so it's local and it's ours. See you Friday!!
