REMEMBERING MIKE TOWNSEND

Dear Friends,

Further to our message last week, we are now in a position to let you know some of the initial things that we are putting in place to commemorate Mike's life:

1. There is a website where people can leave a memory of Mike, post a photo etc. The link is: https://michael-edward-townsend.muchloved.com/

2. We have set up a book of condolences and memories at Torch House. From Monday 11th December to 21st December the book will be available in a room at Torch House from 10 am - 4 pm, Monday to Thursday for people to come in and make a contribution.

3. If you would like something to be put in the book or on the website but can't access them, please feel free to email, write or phone Client Services and we will sort this out for you.

4. Our first major Torch gathering following Mike's death is the carol service on 14th December. We will start that service with a short time of remembrance and thanksgiving for Mike's life - please do join us either at Torc h House or online https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85641163967?pwd=T29lWmVaQ2NKNnFHMlFmbEYya1V5dz09

In due course we will be in touch with details of any funeral and thanksgiving arrangements.

Please continue to pray for Edith and family as they come to terms with Mike's death and make the necessary arrangements.

Please also pray for Tony Brown who has stepped in as Acting Chair of Torch and for the rest of the trustees, leadership team and staff of Torch.

Our love to you all,

Tim
