MUSICAL WANDERINGS: THERE'S STILL TIME TO DISCUSS CHRISTMAS SONGS

The top five Christmas songs I can't stand are: "Santa Baby", "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch", "Barking Dog Jingle Bells", "Snoopy Versus the Red Baron Christmas", and "The Christmas Shoes."

Runners up are any version of "The Little Drummer Boy", "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" and the Bruce Springsteen version of "Santa Clause is Coming to Town."

I do, however, always enjoy hearing "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer."

At the Christmas gathering I was at tonight, the host put on one of Bob Rivers' "Twisted Christmas Tunes" albums. It made the evening that much better.
