MEDIA-RELATED STUFF: OVERNIGHT

Corus has cancelled "The Shift." Didn't think it would last, being a terrestrial radio talk show in the late 2010s/2020s, plus the fact it had three hosts throughout its short existence.

Corus has replaced "The Shift" with the national broadcast of a show that play s repeats of talk segments about southern Ontario plus two music podcasts, being broadcast in AM mono, mind you. Royal entertainment indeed, guys.

Don't know how UCB Canada can say radio is exploding with a straight face. I guess they're telling people what they want to hear. Wouldn't trust those people as far as I could throw them.

Wednesday night's eddition of "Coast to Coast" was superb. Both guests were informative and the first one had a great sense of humour, a balanced perspective and a charming, winning personality. All that plus live phone calls. This is what the rest of radio should aim for.

Why is IHeart Radio advertising TikTok as a way to market your business?
