I'm not a King James only guy; more like a King James main guy. The Bible I own is a King James and whenever I undertake to study a book of the Bible using a commentary or a sermon series I always read that book in my King James Bible, no matter which translation the author or preacher uses. I have found modern translations helpful as far as updating the language, but truthfully I view them more as commentaries than Bibles per se.
This documentary clearly shows how deliberately corrupt the most popular modern translations of God's Word are and the myriad reasons behind this. Steve Anderson and others also answer common arguments against the KJV, giving time to the other side as well.
