Listened to a fifteen-minute episode of "The John J. Anthony Show." In its own subtle way, it brought up adult topics.
Incidentally, two of the spots on this Anthony broadcast are the first two selections (in reverse order) on the tape "Fifty Famous Commercials."
Listened to an episode of "Dr. I.Q." from January 26, 1942. I found it to be an enjoyable show with intelligent questions. Obviously, taking place less than two months after Pearl Harbor, the broadcast contained a lot of patriotic talk and questions about the current war situation.
Hard to Google to find an episode of the otr version of "Name that Tune."
If anyone happens to have recordings of "The Brooklyn Eagle Quiz on Current Events" please let me know.
