MADOC'S OPEN MIC THIS FRIDAY JANUARY 9 6:30 P.M. AT THE LEGION

Dear Friends:
I am so pleased to say that we are back!! Took a holiday on December 26 - as it is my family's traditional "Boxmas" . Only 8 of 24 showed up this year due to a raging snowstorm - especially around Peterborough area. But we still had a GREAT time. And even though some food groups didn't show up for the potluck - we had ALL the meat and potatoes. And filled out the rest of the meal from my brother and sister-in-law's pantry very satisfactorily.

Hope everyone else had a wonderful and satisfying holiday as well. I know LOTS of people weren't well enough to enjoy their celebrations fully. I trust you are all better now and ready for a new year. We're looking forward to seeing all of our friends and wishing you Happy New Year over the next few weeks.

And in celebration any one who has never been a member before and is considering it - you can get your membership for FREE this year. Just ask at the Legion or sign up online at Legion.ca - or email me for more info and an application form. Let your friends know too!!

SO see everybody THIS Friday!! To bring in a New Year with Madoc's Open Mic. We have all the sound equipment - you just bring your instrument if you would like to play. Otherwise just come and enjoy Live Local Music. Everyone is welcome!

See you there!!
