So Country 93 Timmins is adding an hour-long show done by social media personalities. This is kind of neat. Also yet more proof radio is dead and online media is the future, since radio stations now look to online media for talent.
When I checked last night, both 1250 Oakville and 1320 Mississauga were gone.
Also, I believe by the time CJMR came on air Howard Cain was dead.
Congratulations, CRTC, on allowing spoken word programming to be broadcast on FM on a one year trial basis. If the trial is successful and this becomes permanent, we will have caught up with the rest of the world several decades after the fact.
