Listened to part of the February 5, 1945 episode of "Blind Date." Not the TV show from the turn of the millennium with that creepy guy Roger Lodge but the old-time radio program hosted by Arlene Francis which was a precursor to "The Dating Game." It was sure racy for otr.
Watched the first episode of the 1973 TV show "An American Family." Hope those people found the Lord.
Just found out last night the idea for "The Gong Show" was originally suggested by Canadian television host and country gentleman Tommy Hunter.
