MEDIA-RELATED STUFF: FINDING A STATION ON WHICH TO LISTEN TO THE JAYS WON'T BE A PROBLEM AFTER TONIGHT

Listened to part of last night's game on CHOK 1070 Sarnia.

Apparently Dee is hosting "The 91x New Rock 30." Guess they had to get who they could.

NBC deciding to air sports in primetime Sundays and Tuesdays this season is telling. I don't think I ever heard of a network devoting an entire night of primetime to sports for a whole season before.

In the new year, several Rogers radio stations will operate remotely, giving up their physical locations. This is what I thought would happen in radio eventually. I would advise management to have their few remaining announcers travel around and essentially do daily remotes from different locations, paid or otherwise, as simple as just sitting by the lake and commenting on what they see between sets.

The AM 590 simulcast of Magic 105 Albany comes in fairly well here a lot of the time.

Tuned in online to the various transmitters of WWCR tonight, mainly out of a sense of nostalgia. They broadcast the University Network a lot. Arnold Bowen is still on. Texe Marrs has been replaced by "The Air and Wave Show", tonight broadcasting a ridiculously outdated episode. Transmitter Four had nothing. I also noticed that a much older-sounding (than when I was a kid) Joel voices the ID you hear before the stream starts.
