BOOK THOUGHTS: MORE SHORT STORIES

Recently read "Dubliners" by James Joyce. You know how a lot of the stories are going to turn out, but you thoroughly enjoy them despite this.

The blind girl in Dickens' "Cricket on the Hearth" is a metaphor of how people wish to believe lies, even after they've been proven false.

"For the Love of Wendy" by Laurie Foster is an intriguing and tight short story that immediately captures your interest.

Been reading a collection of Poirot short stories by Agatha Kristie. In these collections, the first few cases are easy for the reader to figure out but after that they get more complex.
