Dear Friends:
Two weeks have passed in a whirl of poppies and snowflakes and here we are just two days away from our next Open Mic THIS Friday at the Madoc Legion! (:
Spent the day getting as much Christmas shopping done as I could so I can finish the rest more leisurely. In other words, doing everything but practicing our songs!! Even got a shed built! But promise to polish some up before Friday.
Fortunately - we are not the stars of Madoc's Open Mic - all of you are!! Musicians to entertain us and an audience to support us. YOU are the stars of the Open Mic! Hearing rumours of new performers coming out this Friday and looking forward to seeing many of our old friends too.
It will just be Robert and me on Friday hosting and doing the sound. But we will have all the needed sound equipment - so just bring yourself and your instruments. And we will be watching for you to walk through the door.
And don't forget - every Saturday Torbic Kagmire has an Open Mic at the Gold Rush Brewery in Madoc 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
AND if you can - Bring a toy for the Madoc Legion Toy Drive! We have boxes at the front door. (:
