This book tells the parallel stories of the author and Theodore Morde, both of whom set out to find the enigmatic White City of Honduras seventy years apart from each other, with two major differences being Stewart had no outdoor experience and couldn't speak Spanish.
It will take you forever to read this wonderful 256-page (not including the backmatter) tome because both quests are so full of thrills, dangers, deprivations, and excitement you'll constantly want to put "Jungleland" down to absorb it all properly.
