INVISIBLE ENEMIES

Before 1980, the drug culture had already begun getting stronger in the fifties and sixties with alcohol, weed, heroin, speed, acid, and other psychedelics.

Then, after 1980 the crack cocaine epidemic, as I believe they called it, spilled over into Canada into cities like Toronto, where I grew up, as an unstoppable wave that corrupted so many and that we continue to drown in today.

A predictable time: a country that declared war against itself again.

If you were to ask me about what was happening thirty to forty years ago, it was the result of the whole drug culture that was a result of the introduction of crack cocaine that came into the cities across North America and the world. The issues that have evolved with drugs, alcohol and sexual perversion has been destroying lives, cities and cultures, and been turning us from God ever since.

I pray that somehow we are not past the point of no return and through Jesus there can still be forgiveness for all.

The drugs trickle down from the world leaders at the top to control the people at the bottom.

Why are the Americans so angry?

The insanities that are going on in the cities today are beyond belief and a time bomb just waiting to go off, like a rabid demon who's broken his chain.

I pray to God that this virus stays chained. In Jesus name, amen.

What has been going on in American cities and around the world was very predictable but beyond comprehension. Then, when you cancelled Aunt Jemima, the line in the sand had been crossed. Well, at least we still have apple pie, I think.

If Corona is going to be a huge concern then maybe protesters should stay away. That way, they won't make the problem worse. Showing up at the protests makes no sense and solves no problems. Then they won't be able to blame themselves for helping to cause the spike and the shut down to follow.

If the protesters do show up and get the virus then they won't be able to blame Trump because he told them to stay away if they could not keep their behaviour within the guidelines of a peaceful gathering and what we've learned about protecting ourselves from the coronavirus.

The world today reminds me of Noah's arc floating away on the flood with only the righteous on it and the unrighteous clinging to the mountaintops hoping to stay alive.

Lord, we do as 1 Timothy says and pray for our world leaders, that they learn to stand upon the Word of God and walk in all Your ways. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Doug
