INTERESTING AUDIO

            An excerpt from "The Great Debate" on the Global Television Network from September 12, 1974. Pierre Berton hosted and Jacques Parizeau and George Springate debated the issue Bilingualism is Unworkable. Then part of a commercial for milk. The other side of the tape included race car noises.

Erin Thomson and a friend talking about frogs. Later on, being silly with one other girl. Then a skit about P.J. Styles from Kideo calling a radio announcer to request a song for his birthday. Singing "Don't Turn Around" by Ace of Bass. Then a mixture of "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" as well as a bit of "All That She Wants." More fake radio birthday wishes including someone who thought they were having a heart attack, a salamander sending out a birthday greeting to a newborn fish, people sending out birthday wishes to their house/husband and to their cat named Refrigerator. Later, at 10:00 on Good Friday night, 1997, Erin Thomson and Allison Warren having a sleepover and anticipating someone coming over at midnight, singing "Catch a Falling Star" and more pretending to be radio announcers. On the other side of the tape, conversation with boy who sounded like he was about thirteen or so, wanted to borrow a hairpin to do something with, ended up taking Erin's fork instead. Later, making up news items about girl with really big head and cow getting run over on the highway. More birthday wishes including reference to Mike from Canmore sketch that about things he was thankful for that aired in October 1996. Later singing "If You Wanna be my Lover" by the Spice Girls, then doing skit about guy calling phone sex line. Later conversation with boy from earlier.
