INAUGURAL DOMINION FORUM EVENT

Inaugeral Dominion Forum Event

A public invitation to instruction and discussion

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has sparked a renewed global interest in life’s most fundamental questions. What is truth? What are lies? Are there such things as good and evil? How should we respond to an increasingly authoritarian state, the assault on the family, the ravages of post-national rhetoric, and a rising diabolical intolerance to the very faith our country was founded on?

Charlie was more than a public figure. His goal was to equip young men with the courage and tools to be leaders — at home, at work, in churches, and in the public square. Now, more than ever, the world is in need of such men. But where do we find them? How do we train them? Who will answer their questions? Tragically, the only semblance of “forum¹” most are familiar with today are the ranks of bad actors and rage-baiters populating social media.

In response to this void, Dominion Press is pleased to announce the Dominion Forum. Join us for an evening of in-person instruction, discussion, and great coffee. Yes, you read that right. No zoom calls; no anon accounts; no soul-withering comment threads. It’s time for real people and real conversations.

Bring a friend; bring your questions. It’s time to stop giving ground to people, policies, and ideas that have reduced our nation to a state of beggarly cowardice.

Where:

Peterborough Lions Banquet Hall and Meeting Centre,

347 Burnham St.

Peterborough, ON

When:

November 1, 2025

What: Our topic for the evening will be Live Not By Lies.

The reason Canada is rapidly degrading into a communist death-cult is because her citizens first tolerated, then welcomed, and finally celebrated — lies. The lie of redistributive economics. The lie of religious neutrality. The lie of a benevolent state. The lie of secularism. The lie of non-binary gender. The lie of egalitarianism. And many more.

There will be no “going back to the good old days” without a resolve to be done with lies and to walk in the truth.

Who’s it for:

Although our goal is primarily to equip and encourage men, women are also encouraged and welcome to attend. There will be truth and takeaways for all.

Free

Lieutenant Governor Launches Province-Wide

Artistic and Community Initiative in Celebration of

the 50th Anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian Flag

SUDBURY, ON, September 25, 2025

Today, the Honourable Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, officially launched "Celebrating 50 Years – Shaping the Future Together," a province-wide artistic and community initiative marking the 50th anniversary of the Franco-Ontarian flag.

Running from September 2025 to fall 2026, the initiative will bring together local artists and community members from across Ontario, supported by cultural, community, and academic organizations. Together, they will create works of art that will form the foundation of a collective exhibition showcasing the diversity, vitality, and creativity of Ontario’s francophonie.

Led by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario in partnership with the Alliance culturelle de l'Ontario, and supported by the Ontario Arts Council, the Government of Ontario and TFO, the initiative welcomes projects of all artistic disciplines, including visual arts, music, dance, theatre, digital media, and interdisciplinary projects. Selected projects will be eligible for up to $10,000 in funding, along with mentorship and regional support.

“This 50th anniversary is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate how far we’ve come over the decades, while proudly and confidently looking ahead to the future of our shared story in Ontario,” said the Honourable Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. “Through this initiative, we’re inviting everyone to take part by sharing their stories and showcasing their creativity. Together, let’s shape a vibrant mosaic that reflects the richness, diversity, and vitality of Ontario’s francophonie.”

Key Features of the Initiative:

  • Open to all: Community members, artists, organizations, and institutions from across Ontario are invited to take part.
  • Comprehensive support: Projects are eligible for funding and will receive mentorship and practical resources to help bring their ideas to life.
  • Built on partnerships: Supported by a network of cultural, community, governmental, and media partners.
  • Collaborative process: Each project adds a unique piece to a collective artistic mosaic that reflects the diversity and vitality of Ontario’s francophonie.
  • International visibility: Selected works will be showcased at the 2026 Francophonie Summit in Cambodia
  • Lasting legacy: All works will be preserved in a permanent digital showcase, with potential integration into educational resources.

Timeline and Participation:

  • The initiative welcomes contributions from Ontarians of all backgrounds and experience levels, recognizing that Ontario’s francophonie is enriched by diverse voices, stories, and art forms.
  • Interested participants can submit expressions of interest from September 25 to November 21, 2025, via the initiative’s official website (www.franco50.ca).

Quotes

“For 50 years, the Franco-Ontarian flag has embodied the pride, resilience and cultural richness of Ontario’s Francophone community—the largest in Canada outside of Quebec”, said Caroline Mulroney, Minister of Francophones Affairs. “This anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate the social, cultural and economic development of Francophones in Ontario and their invaluable contributions to the province over the past half-century. Happy Franco-Ontarian Day!”

— The Honourable Caroline Mulroney, Ontario Ministry of Francophone Affairs

“ACO is proud to join Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario in this meaningful initiative, which highlights how the arts lie at the heart of our Francophone heritage and carry its promise into the future.”

— Benoît Roy, Chair, Alliance culturelle de l'Ontario

"As an organization that proudly invests more than $4 million each year in Franco-Ontarian arts and culture, the Ontario Arts Council is delighted to be partnering with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and the Alliance culturelle de l’Ontario on this exciting initiative. The Franco-Ontarian Flag Day celebration is the perfect event to launch this project. The flag is not only a symbol of cultural pride, but a testimony to the enduring impact of Franco‑Ontarian culture. Celebrating 50 Years – Shaping the Future Together! is sure to invigorate the network of Franco-Ontarian communities across the province while strengthening a sense of belonging. We are eager to see the community’s innovative and exciting projects come forward."

— Simon Foster, Chair, Ontario Arts Council

Prayers for the Remnant

We encourage all of our readers to send in their prayer needs. We consider it a great privilege to lift one another up before the throne of God, knowing that He hears and answers the cries of His people.

One of the greatest blessings we have as Christians is the privilege of prayer. It is not simply a religious exercise, but a living connection to the Almighty God. Through prayer, we invite His presence into our struggles, His peace into our anxieties, and His healing into our brokenness.

The Bible assures us that prayer is powerful and effective. James writes, “The effective prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much” (James 5:16 NASB). When we lift our hearts to the Lord, we can be confident that He hears us, and that His answer will come in His perfect timing and wisdom.

Even more, Scripture reminds us that Jesus Christ is our Healer. He bore our sins and carried our pains to the cross, and by His wounds we are healed. Isaiah declared, “But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; the punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5 NASB).

Whether we face physical illness, emotional burdens, or spiritual battles, we can turn to the Great Physician. The psalmist rejoiced, “Bless the LORD, my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; who pardons all your guilt, who heals all your diseases” (Psalm 103:2–3 NASB).

This is the encouragement for the believer: prayer changes things because God Himself responds to the cries of His people. He restores, He strengthens, and He heals. Let us be a people who “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NASB), trusting in Christ’s power to deliver and renew.

Take courage, dear Remnant. As Jeremiah reminds us, “For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds,” declares the LORD (Jeremiah 30:17 NASB).

Let us hold fast in prayer, knowing our Savior still heals today.
