A. Harmony is going to be the new permanent host of CBC Audio's "Marvin's Room." That's just ... great. Also, from a cursory online search, I can't figure out exactly what else it is she does besides hosting the aforementioned program.
Stephen Brunt, the author of the wonderful 2006 book "Searching for Bobby Orr", has left Sportsnet Radio the Fan 590. Had I known he was on that station prior to this announcement I might have tuned into his show.
If the study about how newcomers to Canada consume audio content is correct, ethnic terrestrial radio doesn't have any brighter future than mainstream terrestrial radio does.
