Have been listening to the syndicated "Liveline" on Fly FM Kingston. Mason does a good show, just kind of wish it were local. Maybe My Broadcasting should replace it with a Fly FM version, then syndicate the program to their other stations and those owned by other companies once the show becomes successful enough.
Have Mason or his producers ever thought of doing a special, maybe even one exclusively available online, of all the songs listeners request that don't fit his playlist, such as "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" that one girl requested Friday?
As far as Gene Valaitis being the new host on CKTB St. Catharine's, it is great he's going to emphasize local. Personally, however, I wouldn't be surprised if White Oaks eventually does what WABC New York has done and start syndicating programs after building up a strong roster.
Glad I could catch "The Original Country Gold" with Rowdy Yates Saturday night via Froggy 97 Watertown.
Incidentally, I clicked on Yates Live 365 (so glad that site didn't go away permanently) stream but nothing plays.
