The thing about Nelly Furtado's whole "Loose" era was it was so alienating. First, she has her breakout album "Whoa Nelly" which featured songs you'd expect a 21 year old to sing. Then came her next album, which contained songs reflecting on her life, appropriate for someone who's just entered the stage of motherhood. Then, with "Loose", she takes this bizarre whorish hip-hop turn.
