MEDIA-RELATED STUFF

Forgot how corny the dialogue is in soap operas.

Why does that Delta Airlines commercial have to mention Stonewall?

I see USA Network's "Golden Age of Radio" with Victor Ives is now "Classic Radio Theater" with Wyatt Cox. Still don't like the fact USA Radio Network cuts out parts of the programs.

Hey, Alex. To answer your comment re editing, I remove full performances of Musical numbers because even though the performances themselves are out of copyright, ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC still go after public performance fees on behalf of the authors. We do that to protect the stations who are the ones these bastages go after. And I do remove most all commercials, particularly cigarette advertising. Sorry if it concerns you, but in each hour I only have 40 minutes of program material.

I understand. Thanks for helping to keep these shows alive.

And just FYI, I will be producing another new Classic Christmas Radio Theater for USA Radio, 24 hours of Old Time Christmas programming. Did it for 15 years as Christmas on the Radio.
