Shortwave is still a viable medium. Sudan just put 20 transmitters on the air.
That program last Sunday on Global 24 with the children playing Christmas music and other Christmas-themed audio was really neat.
Been listening to the World Radio Network via Global 24 via WRMI including programming from NHK Japan, Radio Israel, Vatican Radio, and Radio France International.
