Kearnsy was sure playing a lot of stuff on this past "All Request Saturday Night" I either hadn't heard in a while, had barely heard on the radio or had never even heard before.
However, when it came to music you could really party to, that came after the show concluded at midnight.
As far as "The Ongoing History of New Music" and its countdown of the hundred most significant moments in alternative rock over the past 25 years, I disagree with the most recent episode. The release of "American Idiot" should be in the top ten, if not the top five because it was the album that really caused alternative rock to go mainstream. Everybody, including people who didn't even like new music, loved the hits from that thing and it was all over pop radio, too.
Glad I found a livestream for Planet Rock UK.
