SEVERAL BLASTS FROM THE PAST

98.1 CHFI Toronto with what I assume to be "Saturday Night Oldies" with brief snippet of female anncr coming off a record.

1050 CHUM Toronto from March 30 of I'm guessing 1997 or 2003 with Roger Ashby and "Sunday Morning Oldies", frontselling a few songs and at one point counting down the hits from that same date in 1963.

1050 CHUM Toronto from around 1983 with Mike Holland giving names of latest qualifiers in contest of which Roger Ashby would be announcing the winner of the following morning. On the other side of the tape, a very polished anncr doing a live ID over a song intro for FM 108 (CING-FM) Burlington. Then into the "Sunday Morning Oldies Show" with Roger Ashby on CHUM-FM Toronto with an ID over a song intro done by Ben E. King.

104.5 CHUM-FM Toronto from 1988 Roger Ashby "Sunday Morning Oldies." Counted down the top five from 1963. ID by Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan of The Turtles. Double shots of Sonny and Cher and The Hollies. A request for Yolande Kent of Toronto. Original 1050 CHUM jingles.

104.5 CHUM-FM Toronto from a December in the mid-nineties with Lee Eckley counting down "The Top 12 at 12." Christmas jingle.

97.7 CJQR-FM St. Catharines (now CHTZ-FM) from late December 1984 with country Christmas songs and an ID jingle. Then into CHUM-FM Toronto with Christmas music and ID. Then into CHFI Toronto from either December 25 or 26 of 1984 with Christmas IDs, including an interesting, lengthy one featuring a reading from Dylan Thomas's "A Child's Christmas in Wales" followed by the staff anncr saying that in the spirit of that poem, CHFI was playing Christmas music commercial free all Christmas and Boxing Day.

98.1 CHFI Toronto from I'm guessing earlier in December 1984 Paul Fisher frontselling Anne Murray Christmas medley.

104.5 CHUM-FM Toronto from the late eighties or early nineties with "happy holidays" jingle, Christmas greeting from Michael Bolton, regular jingle IDs, Gord James over the intros to songs in the middle of 104 minutes commercial free.
