A PERFECT WORLD

This was a pretty good movie, but I don't think someone should force somebody else to violate their religious beliefs in order to get back their son, especially when it comes to something as Satanic and pagan as Halloween.

Note: I do not agree with the suggestion in the linked video above that Christians should give out Bible tracks on Halloween.

For one thing, you are asking to get vandalized that way.

For another, I don't agree with passing out tracts in general because people already get enough junk mail as it is.

Thirdly, and, most importantly, the slippery slope argument comes into play. If we're going to pass out Bible tracts, then we ought to get some candy or something to pass out along with them so the kids don't feel cheated. Then, before you know it, you're decorating a little bit, then a little bit more, then dressing up yourself, then playing the spooky music, etc. etc.

I do, however, heartily agree with the YouTuber's suggestion of going to the store on November 1 and taking advantage of the discounted candy for junior church or ... whatever.
