GENESIS 17-23

Genesis 17 5: God tells Abraham in this verse he will be the father of many nations, not a new, holy nation as the church is called in 1 Peter. This verse in Genesis provides further evidence for the Identity truth.

Genesis 18 23-32: The Lord already knew that there weren't any righteous people besides Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. God is allowing Abraham to feel Him out and have this conversation with Him as a testimony to the Lord's mercy.

Genesis 19: What happened in Sodom and Gomorrah is a true story, people!

Genisis 19 8: When Lot offered up his daughters, this wasn't a desperate move made in a weak moment. Lot was being sarcastic because he knew the men wouldn't want them.

Genesis 19 30-38: Why does the Daily Bread devotional skip this passage?

Genesis 22 18: The white race has fed and clothed the entire world; the people whom this verse is commonly applied to, not so much.

Genesis 22 20-24: Why does the Daily Bread devotional skip this part?
