Two short airchecks from YouTube recorded in the summer of 1981 for you today.
The first video is of 1290 WFBG in Altoona. I'm guessing Dan Cool is probably this guy's on-air name. Also, he seems too much into the sexual inuendoes.
The second aircheck is from 850 WEEU in Reading from August 14 of '81 and mostly consists of a syndicated countdown show of which I had previously never heard which makes this find all the more interesting. Man, did this station ever have long jingles.
