My power memory text right now is Psalm 55 and verse 22- “Cast your burdens upon The Lord, for He shall sustain you, He will not suffer the righteous to be moved.”
Let’s break this down starting with the first few words “Cast your burdens upon The Lord.” On a simple level it means to trust Him fully, but if you dig in a little further there’s a strand of reminder to us to live and be like Jesus. He does lay burdens on our hearts E.G. one of the things he often tells me about is the Cambodian people.
For He shall sustain you. No matter what season you are walking through He’s there beside you. I’ll admit, when I was a lonely girl in high school, I tried sprinting away, but couldn’t.
He will never suffer the righteous to be moved. If you’ve ever told someone telling someone else that talking to another person is about as easy as talking to a brick wall, this applies, but instead of hurting yourself arms reach down to pick you up, and set you to rights on the narrow path.
