AH: Jesus' real name isn't actually Jesus? We've all been doing it wrong these many centuries?

Sounds like someone sincerely aiming to follow Christ. Lord, I pray you wake up the fellow saint in this video to the people of Revelation 2 9 and 3 9. In the name of JESUS. Amen.

FUN FACT ABOUT KOALA BEARS

Human brains have folds and wrinkles, but the brain of a koala bear is completely smooth.  Cool, isn't it? God has created some really neat things.

GOD IS WITH MS. GILLIE DURING HER LATEST HEALTH ORDEAL

        Testimony
God is good, all the time, and all the time God is good.

When I was born in 1979 ultrasound was mainly used for bladder stones, reproductive purposes, and similar matters.  Growing up I often dealt with stomach pains and occasional constipation.  It wasn't until a chance medical test in 2023 that the reason would be detected.  While most people have a cecum, right near the colon, mine was mobile, moving sometimes toward my pelvic region, other times just kind of staying still.

December 7, 2025 began how most Sundays did for me, I got up, thought about stuff, and planned my menu for the following week.  I went grocery shopping that afternoon never thinking that with in hours my very life would hang on a thin line.  At seven PM that evening my stomach began hurting at levels that made me, normally not one to take pain medicine take Tylenyl.  By 8:30 I put my hand to my stomach and noticed it was distended like the stomachs I'd seen of those impoverished children a guest preacher had talked of at my grandma's church many years earlier.  I knew something wasn't right, but was still holding out hope the pain killers might do what they were supposed to do.

Shortly after eleven PM I knew this was far more serious than food poisoning, as I had thrown up my dinner, and the pain killers weren't even close to doing anything.  I first called my PSWs, and they came up, one of them asked if my stomach was normally this distended, and I replied that it wasn't.  We called an ambulance, and I was taken to one of the nearby hospitals.

When I got to the emergency room they triaged me as more urgent, and I was brought to a rapid response room.  It wasn't overly long before I was taken for an abdominal CT,.

Soon,  a doctor came back to me and said I had not only a bowel obstruction but my colon had twisted in to a shape resembling a balloon animal.  He told me that the surgical team would be along soon to explain a procedure I would need.  He also told me that had I not come to the hospital for another twelve to eighteen hours I would not be sitting here typing.

I live over a hundred miles from where I grew up, and had to call my mom at five-twenty that morning.  Half asleep she told me she'd gather some stuff, and be there as soon as she could.  She got there at eleven-thirty that morning.

For our American readers, McMaster Health Network is basically the Johns Hopkins of Canada,.  The surgical team came for me around two PM, and the next thing I remember clearly is waking up with my mom at my side.

With in the day after my surgery my blood levels dropped, I began to show signs of post surgical pneumonia, and my heart was racing.  I received a blood transfusion, had a CT on my heart and lungs, and there was the possibility that I would need a CT scan called a cardio PET scan.

I did what I knew to do, I prayed, trusting only in God to help.  I also contacted my church family, and though I really don't remember much about it, this lady I call my church mom came in to pray for me the day after my surgery.

By Saturday night I was showing major signs of improvement, my NG tube was removed, and I was able to take in clear liquids.  The next day at lunch I was upgraded to soft foods.  I was also able to move about a little better.  I was put on a restrictive low fiber diet, reintroducing things gradually over a month.

I am not 100% yet, but getting back to my life.  Thank you all for praying for me.  Thank you to those who give blood.  Above all thank you Jesus for sacrificing for us, and being a miracle worker!

""Leonard Ravenhill (18 June 1907 – 27 November 1994) was a British Christian evangelist and author who focused on the subjects of prayer and revival.""
12:30 PM
Now I am thinking during his lifetime there was a form of revival. Perhaps even the 3rd Great Awakening. Does this make this generation the 4th watch?

Thanks Kerrigan and all at this ministry

Notes:

THREE WHISPERED WORDS

Every time I have prayed I often ask to trust God even when I can't trace Him.  Recently I have had severe pain in my neck to the point where I went to urgent care, and when that didn't help I went to my regular doctor.

Somehow the night before my appointment I got a somewhat decent sleep interrupted only by severe pain around two AM.  Rather than grabbing some pain relief I spoke three words "help me Jesus."

Since that late night appeal my pain has decreased, however as a precaution I was sent by my doctor for x-rays.

Today, though my pain is noticeable, it's not as debilitating as it was.

CASTING CROWNS-SLOW FADE

Picture a grand home built for a grand family.  Overtime through decades of economic issues, family discord, and general neglect sits a decaying husk of what once  was.

TAKE THE NAME OF JESUS WITH YOU

Do you have a to-do list?  We all do, you know that list of have-to-do things that won't do themselves?  It may be on your phone or on paper on the corner of your desk, but it reminds you of things that need doing.

Ok, now that we've established that everyone has a to-do list, how do you organize it?  Are you the type who does the major or annoying items first, fixing that drawer, making that appointment, or cleaning your fridge?  Or are you someone who just does those things, in no real order, just checks them off as you go?

Every day we have lists of things to do, but what's at the top?  A week ago Friday was my birthday, and even before I really woke up I thanked God.  God should be the top of your priority list, even above the fact that your car has made a weird sound for the last four days.  He can help you in your daily life, and even make that to-do list seem less daunting.

THOUGHT FOR OCTOBER 30

When packing for a vacation one must pack the essentials, clothes for the destination, camera or camera phone to capture the moments, and toiletries.  In life, and whatever you do, make sure the Most High King Jesus is right there with you.

AT THE TIME OF HER BIRTHDAY, MS. GILLY PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT HER INTO THE WORLD

        A Wonderful Mystery
Have you ever wondered why God chooses certain people to do certain things to have certain impacts on our lives?  You've had at least one, that math teacher in 7th grade who made multiplication of fractions seem less like torture and more like something worth doing.  For me the people I'm going to talk about are far closer to home.

Who are they? They happen to be my mom and dad, and as my birthday approaches I am still trying to solve a mystery.  Why did God hand pick Doug and Denyse Ardiel to be my parents?

In my almost 46 trips around the sun I can remember things that go back decades.  One of my very early memories is my mom talking to me in an encouraging way, teaching me to pick myself up, dust myself off, and keep trying.  Her example went further than that, she taught me to ask questions, stand for principles, and carry myself in a comfident but humble way.

For as far back as I could carry memories I always saw my dad as a quiet man given to humility and calm nature.  Though a successful business man he never forgot his humble beginnings.  I will also remember Christmas 1982 when he tried to put me at the top of our Christmas tree.

There are over eight billion people who call this planet home, and if I tried to think of all the things I can thank God for in regards to my parents, I definitely would lose count.

ANOTHER NO KINGS DAY

As for no kings, the truth in Jesus is the true crown of the king of truth and salvation that unlocks your mind and sets you free.

THE LIE OF TRANS

Trans means the opposite of truth. A transphobe is seeing what is true but is called a hater because they may be hurting someone's feelings. The truth is that the truth is not concerned about your feelings because it does not change for you. There is no such things as trans truth.

JESUS IS THE HERO OF HEROES

        Far More Powerful
Do you have a hero?  Is it a historical figure, a teacher, a member of your family?

If like me you grew up with the Saturday morning routine of sugar laden cereal in front of the TV watching cartoons you'll know what I'm about to talk about.  Like every good Generation X kid my Saturday morning would first find me in the kitchen of my family's farmhouse eating a piece of toast, and depending on the season a glass of milk, hot chocolate, or juice.  Following that I would proceed to the living room to plop myself down to watch Spiderman sling webs of justice, and He-Man and the Masters Of The Universe fight Skeletor and his evil forces.  This was usually before my mom would tell me to go get dressed to go run errands, or go "touch grass."  I could also be found playing on the playground at school, setting up Star Wars related adventures.
        The Other Hero
Though I didn't grow up much in the church, sometimes I would go with my grandmothers or a lady who would look after my sister and I.  I would hear of someone so heroic He made Spiderman and He-Man look like weaklings.  I just didn't really realize it at the time.

Looking back I often think of when my heroes in those cartoons would seem like they had been overtaken by the villains, and when it seems like all is lost something happens just at that right moment.  We have a saying we have for moments when it feels like everything's dog-piled on us, "more prayer, more power!"

MS. GILLIE EXPERIENCES A CONTINUAL WAVE OF JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

        What A Precious Enjoyment
Hi friends!  It's been quite sometime,. I hope things are going well out there.

In case you don't know I do some freelance preaching, and get a lot of joy out of it.  I can tell you where and when the spark was lit.  Thanksgiving 1987 I was seven-years-old I sat with my cousins at my grandmother's home, when she assigned me to say the blessing before the meal, not feeling intimidated in the least, I spoke simple words of a child, and at the end my grandmother, "gran" said, "you've got a little pastor."  I didn't know or understand at the time, but her words would prove prophetic over three decades later.

In 2021 one of the members of my prayer line team was dealing with some health issues, and asked if I wanted to take over her preaching duties for a possible short time, but a short time has become almost five years.

Why I called this "What A Precious Enjoyment"  There's a hymn in our hymnal called Under His Wings.  The third verse begins with "Under His Wings, what a precious enjoyment."

I always feel various joy types for Jesus, but a couple of weeks back I preached my usual mini-sermon, went to bed, and woke the next day, but something felt different.  I felt differently, lighter, like my feet had lost all ability to touch ground.  I had felt like this when I was 12 years old and had participated in my first ski race, and lifted my poles in the victory position at the end of the race. That feeling followed me like a favorite thing for days.

Has this happened to you, if so, when, what caused it, and has it been achieved again?
