Raging elderly woman, 75, dies of heart attack after violently attacking young Tim Hortons workers for getting her order wrong

Shocking surveillance footage captured the moment a raging elderly woman flew into a frenzy at Tim Hortons workers before having a fatal heart attack.

Anita Grayson, 75, was seen berating young workers at the coffee shop in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 13, as she complained about a mistake in her drive-thru order.

The encounter escalated after a 20-year-old employee told Grayson to leave, which police say led her to 'forcefully' shove the staff member and another employee.

Grayson then struck one of the workers in the face and ripped out a lock of her hair, police say.

In response, a worker swung her arms wildly at the elderly woman and knocked her over, before she stood up and was brought a cup of water by the store manager to calm down.

Police say that Grayson was unresponsive when officers arrived ten minutes later and she was pronounced dead from a heart attack after receiving medical attention.

A segment of the footage showing Grayson being knocked over was shared to social media by her daughter, Tawnda, leading to calls for the Tim Hortons workers to be arrested.

Police then released the full video showing Grayson attacked the workers first, saying they hoped the full context would 'alleviate the uneasiness that many felt after seeing the video,' per 21Alive.

Tawnda said she is not satisfied with the response from police.

'My mother was wronged in the worst way,' she told 21Alive. 'I lost the matriarch of my family.'

She said an anonymous person texted her surveillance video of the incident, which she said she took as an answered prayer.

'I just called out to God, we need to see it. I have to see that - please show me -because I need to at least know how, why,' Tawnda said.

She said she has been left confused and heartbroken by her mother's death, accusing the coffee shop workers of playing a role in her heart attack.

'You should not enter a coffee shop for a coffee and a doughnut and come out unalived,' she added. 'That is diabolical.'

The Allen County Coroner’s Office has not ruled on Grayson’s cause and manner of death, but preliminary findings show there were 'no significant contributory injuries' that contributed to her heart attack.

Tawnda said her mother had congestive heart failure, but said she does not accept the police's account of the incident and believes her mother should not have died.

'That’s an elderly lady. That’s not how we treat our senior citizens,' she said.

'We be careful with them. We make sure that they’re alright. We don’t jump on them and attack them. And scare them to death.'

Following backlash on social media, the Fort Wayne Police Department said it understood the public concern but said early footage of her being shoved over was out of context.

A spokesman urged the public to 'allow the review process to proceed based on the full body of evidence, not incomplete video clips or inaccurate narratives.'

In a statement to the Daily Mail, a spokesperson for Tim Hortons said: 'We were deeply saddened to learn about this incident and our heartfelt condolences go out to the loved ones of Anita Grayson.

'The health and safety of our guests and team members is our highest priority and the local franchisee has been cooperating fully with the local police.'

ROBOT PASSENGER AT LOVE FIELD PROMPTS SOUTHWEST AIRLINES TO BAN BOTS

No Fly Zone: Robot passenger at Love Field prompts Southwest Airlines to ban 'bots

The Brief

Southwest Airlines recently changed their baggage policy after a passenger at Dallas Love Field brought a humanoid robot on a May 7 flight to Las Vegas.

The airline's new policy states that no human-like or animal-like robots are allowed in the cabin or as checked baggage "regardless of size or purpose."

The robot's owner says they purchased the robot, nicknamed Stewie, his own plane ticket and used an FAA-compliant lithium battery in order to fly.

DALLAS - The first step for robot-kind in the aviation world will have to wait after Southwest Airlines banned human-like robots from its flights.

Stewie takes flight

What we know:

On May 7, an employee of The Robot Studio, a Dallas-based company, took a Southwest Airlines flight from Dallas Love Field to Las Vegas with a robotic companion named Stewie.

The Robot Studio purchased Stewie its own plane ticket, and the company made sure its battery within it was FAA compliant in order for it to fly.

Social media videos posted by The Robot Company show Stewie interacting with passengers and walking from the terminal onto the plane, much to the bewilderment of the plane's flight attendents.

The next day, Southwest Airlines updated their baggage policy to implement a robot ban including human-like and animal-like bots.

In a statement to FOX 4, Southwest Airlines said: "To ensure compliance with our guidelines for traveling safely with lithium-ion batteries, Southwest clarified its baggage policy to include robotic devices."

The airline has added a page on their website that explains the new position on robotic devices:

"Southwest Airlines does not allow human-like or animal-like robots to be transported in the cabin or as checked baggage, regardless of size or purpose. A "humanlike robot" is a robot designed to resemble or imitate a human in its appearance, movement, or behavior. An "animal-like robot" is a robot designed to resemble or imitate an animal in its appearance, movement, or behavior. All other robots, including toys, must be able to fit within a carry-on size bag and comply with existing battery restrictions."

"It’s hard to hate that robot"

What they're saying:

"You know, when you see Stewie flying on an airplane, it’s hard to hate that robot."

Aaron Mehdizadeh owns The Robot Studio, a company that rents out robots like Stewie. He says they followed every precaution in order for Stewie to take its first flight.

"The battery that we used was not a safety hazard, and a lot of people online were like how can you bring a lithium battery, you’re endangering people," Mehdizadeh said. "This battery was totally under the FAA limit."

Instead, Stewie's next flight will have to wait. Mehdizadeh expects radical changes in the world of artificial intelligence and robots.

"I understand why people have the fear," he said. "But if you are aligned towards the future and position yourself to be always learning, every new AI feature that comes out, and being ahead of the curve, this could be one of the greatest things that’s ever happened in human history."

Pushkar Shinde, The Robot Company's Chief Technology Officer, compares today's stance on robots to how people felt about automobiles in the early 1920s.

"So from my perspective, this is like a very early industry," Shinde said. "It's still predominantly entertainment."

April -  Alberta to Ontario

After finishing strong inAlberta, including preaching atCity Mosaic Churchwith Pastors Nathan and Sarah Best, we made our way back toOntario.

Easter Sundaywe had the privilege of serving atStirling Community Church. Even though Christina became sick and couldn’t lead worship, theWord of God still

went forth with power. During the message, we even had people being filled with the Spirit before any altar call was given!

Then came afirst for us… a double booking!

At the end of April, we were blessed to join our new friends atQuadeville Pentecostal Churchwith Pastor Joe and his wife Lori, whileIsabella and Jamieson

represented PASSION 4 PRESENCE on their ownatCalvary Community Church Belleville, Celebration of Missions.

As parents, seeing our kidsconfidently represent the ministrywas both humbling and encouraging. We continue to be amazed at thedoors God opensand how He

usesour whole familyin this journey.

It’s because ofMissions Supportwith Churches andMonthly Partners that we can walk by faith knowing that God is providing ourfinancialneeds.

May  - Nova Scotia & Ontario

May brought some interesting new experiences as we travelled toNova Scotia, first ministering the Word atHebron Fellowship in Halifax. What apowerful move

of Godas altar ministry continued andspontaneous songs erupted in worship.

As a family, we also did somethingNEW!

We set up ourfirst ministry booth at General Conference in Halifax, a gathering ofover 900 pastors and lay delegates. It was a privilege to share aboutPASSION

4 PRESENCEand the adventure God has us on, while meeting many new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones.

After three days at conference, we made our way back toOntario, where we are currently covering forPastors Alvin and Glenda in Marmoraduring a much-needed

holiday. FromSunday services, tomidweek prayer meetings, toseniors home ministry, our heart remains simple:

“Yes Lord.”

June  - Newfoundland & PEI here we come!

June will have us travelling east once again as our family heads towardNewfoundland. Along the way, we will first stop inPrince Edward Island, where Mark

will be ministering atHebron Fellowshipand also preaching atCalvary Church in Charlottetown with Pastor Matt Moss.

From there, we continue on toNewfoundland, where Mark will have the privilege ofpreaching in Gander, returning tothe church his grandfather attended before

passing years ago. What ameaningful full-circle ministry opportunity.

Beyond scheduled services, we are also looking forward toface-to-face ministry meetingswith pastors and leaders we connected with recently atGeneral Conference.

We continue to be amazed at howGod opens doors, builds relationships, and expands opportunitiesto encourage churches across Canada.

Help Send Us East

As always, your prayers forsafe travels, divine appointments, andGod’s continued leadingare appreciated.

THANK YOU!

We’re excited to see what God continues to do next.

TV-RELATED STUFF: OLD CBC SHOWS

Here's "Homemade Television", a kids variety show. Quite the interesting program. Though the date on the video says June 1977, I think, to judge from some of the content, this originally aired in October of 1976. Incidentally, the playground they profile shut down several years ago.

Here's an episode of daytime talk show "Take 30" from 1967 featuring Joni Mitchell. Seems like a good way to brighten up a Monday. Also love the promos at the beginning voiced by CBC stalwart Allan McFee and the centennial promo at the end.

Here's "The Barris Beat" from New Year's Eve 1956. This is from back when Canada had blue laws and everything was closed on a Sunday.
