The following is the first post in what I hope will be a chapter by chapter commentary on a book I personally received at a local church back in early January. As you can probably guess from the title of this post, the book is called "The Final Seven Years" and is the above-mentioned author's thorough take on Bible prophecy.
The posts are not meant to be a personal attack on Allinson. He gave me a free copy of the book and Richard and his wife seem like lovely people. However, I, (and by extension, this blog) am dedicated to the truth as I understand it revealed to me by God from Scripture. It is with this in mind, hopefully speaking it in love as my Lord commands me to, that I present this and future posts on the book. May I not hesitate to point out anything in this tome with which I disagree and provide ample proof as to why and the reason as to why I think my interpretation is correct.
Likewise, if there is something in "The Final Seven Years" with which I agree and it sparks worthwhile comment, I will post that as well.
As per usual, this commentary won't consist of my thoughts on every line, just on what stands out to me.
First of all, how joyful is it that a whole bunch of people are observing the shadow of something that has already come as Colossians talks about?
Second, there are a couple posts on this blog about what really happened on October 7. Search those out if you want the truth.
Third, I do not believe anything the mainstream media says about Iran, a land where many Jews have dwelt peacefully, or as peacefully as fallen man can, for centuries.
Fourth, I would like to know more about the 2023 Nova Music Festival. Who was in the lineup? Whom does each band worship? Do any acts channel their lyrics from the devil or from Satan in disguise?
