I was given five interesting home recorded videotapes from the thrift shop several months ago and I thought I'd tell you about them.
The first tape consists of the Clark family of Brantford, Ontario celebrating Christmas 1991. After the usual talk about how to work the camera, children opening their presents. The youngest, Holly, a toddler, got a play kitchen and a doll with the same blue eyes as her. In the background, CKPC 1380 played with a live female anncr taking requests. Gave weather forecast. A brief clip of the adults opening presents while the kids were out playing. Then the kids back inside playing with their presents. Talk about the recession.
