MADOC'S OPEN MIC THIS FRIDAY MARCH 6 6:30 P.M. AT THE LEGION

Dear Friends:
Has been a busy month !! But happily the Open Mic is almost here! And WHAT a beautiful day!! I think Spring is almost here too!! When should I be starting seeds indoors??

Friday looks like a little cloud, a little rain - but NOTHING below zero!! So we should be all right. Getting keyed up for an eventful weekend with our Open Mic on Friday kicking it off. Sunday is sunny AND International Women's Day and I'll be spending it at the Women in Business Expo promoting all things Legion - including Madoc's Open Mic - and FREE membership for the Legion this year for new members! Come and see me and what is going on.
Friday at Madoc's Open Mic is looking very promising. A few excellent musicians were sorry to miss the last one (sadly cancelled) so hoping they will make it to this one. It's always nice to know that anyone is coming - so pleased there are murmurings for this one. It always works out. And I'm SURE this is going to be a GREAT one!!
As always we have all the equipment that you need - you just bring your instruments. Jerry will be there doing his great job on sound too.

Other musical events happening locally in the next couple of weeks:
Saturday 7&14 Torbic Kagmire's Open Mic at the Gold Rush Brewery 6:00-9:00.
Friday March 13 Pub Night at the Marmora Curling Club - went there last month - and that place was rockin'!! VERY well attended with lots of great musicians.
Saturday March 14 is the Young Family at the Legion's Music & Meat Draw Event 2:00-5:00
Also March 14  6:00 pm. The Firehall Restaurant is having its St. Paddy's Day Prelude with Guinness Stew and Green Pints and Rockin' Rob & Jayne Laidlaw for entertainment.

So see you Friday 6:30 !!

Elizabeth & Robert
