For Christians, God always hears our prayers. It's just that, sometimes, His response is "No" or "not yet." Even when our requests are answered in one of these two ways, we can be assured that the Lord still only intends good for His people and that He is growing us, perfecting and sanctifying us while utilizing whatever He allows us to go through in this life.
