Callers could win tickets to Bellyfest at Trudeau Park in Tweed if they were the fifth caller through upon hearing Austin Powers. Bellyfest that year included Five Finger Discount, Random Killing, Cutoff, and Twelve Ounces. Promo for The Wolf's Backyard Barbecue Party voiced by the late great John Badham. Jesse from Curve Lake requesting Local H. Nirvana "In Bloom" from Lucy Dempsey going out to Sonny. The winner of the Bellyfest tickets was announced. In fact, she said her name but I couldn't make it out. Commercial for Scugog Festival Days voiced by Dale Lowe. Tickets were going to be given away for Summersault '98.

Commercial for Orthoshields condoms (possibly fake), Sprint Canada, promo for The Wolf's Backyard Barbecue Party. Fastball's "The Way" at #5 with lead singer explaining the origins of the song. Commercials for Esso, Exel Computer and Internet Solutions, Molson Rockfest club night at Club Vibe featuring The Travoltas voiced by Scott Hanes. Then into the Sunday night edition of "The Alternate Route."
