MINISTRY UPDATE June - PEI, Newfoundland & New Brunswick

June Ministry Update June was a month that reminded us once again that when we simply say "yes" to where God is leading, He faithfully opens the doors. With our trailer packed, we set out across the East Coast, not knowing all that the Lord had prepared. Every stop became another opportunity to witness His faithfulness and watch Him move in people's lives. One of the greatest privileges of this journey was walking alongside pastors and church leaders across Atlantic Canada. Can we tell you how honored we feel to do that? It is a privilege we never take for granted. God has allowed us to build relationships with many of these faithful leaders, walking with some through seasons of incredible ministry growth and celebration, while standing beside others during some of their most challenging moments in ministry. Whether sharing joyful victories or carrying heavy burdens together in prayer, we are continually reminded that ministry is not meant to be done alone. Our heart is to encourage these pastors, stand with them in faith for what God is doing in their communities, and remind them that they are not walking this journey alone. New Brunswick Our journey began with a stop in New Brunswick, where we shared a meal with a pastor and his wife whom we had met at General Conference. It was a simple evening of conversation, encouragement, and prayer as we listened to their hearts for their church, their community, and what God was doing in their lives. At the time, we had no idea that God would weave this relationship into the rest of our journey. As we traveled home weeks later, this same pastor felt led to host a service for his congregation. What began as a dinner around the table became another opportunity to encourage a local church and minister to God's people. Prince Edward Island Our journey continued in Prince Edward Island, where we ministered at Hebron Fellowship. During our time there, the Lord spoke prophetically into people's lives, reminding them that they are deeply known, deeply loved, and never forgotten by Him. Watching hearts soften as they encountered the Father's love was a beautiful reminder that God is still speaking today. From there, we preached two services in Charlottetown. Throughout the weekend, we sensed the Holy Spirit stirring a fresh hunger in people's hearts. There was a growing desire to wake up, pursue God's presence, and allow Him to move in and through their lives in a greater way. This church is in the process of rebuilding after being devastated by a hurricane, and it was incredible to witness not only the rebuilding of the building itself, but also the rebuilding of hearts. There was a renewed faith and expectancy among the people as they embraced the truth that God is not finished with them. We left encouraged by their perseverance and inspired to see a congregation believing that God has even greater things in store for their church and their community. Newfoundland After taking the ferry to Newfoundland, we watched God continue to lead every step. He opened doors we never could have planned ourselves. We had the privilege of sitting with pastors, hearing both their victories and the burdens they carry for their communities, and praying with them as they continue to faithfully shepherd the people God has entrusted to them. We ministered in churches of every size. Some services were filled with a couple hundred people, while others gathered only 11. Yet every opportunity carried the same value because every person matters to God. We simply went wherever He asked us to go, believing that even one conversation, one prayer, or one encounter with His presence can change a life forever. Our heart was to encourage pastors, build up local churches, and stand with them in faith as they continue believing for God to transform their communities. One of the greatest blessings was witnessing the unity of the Body of Christ. We were welcomed into Anglican, Salvation Army, Pentecostal, and cross-cultural churches, each with different traditions but one shared passion. Across every denomination, we found men and women who long to see people know Jesus intimately and experience the life-changing work of the Holy Spirit. Some of the moments that impacted us the most never happened behind a pulpit. They happened around dinner tables as pastors shared their hearts, during quiet conversations filled with honesty, and at altars where people encountered God's presence in fresh and personal ways. Again and again, we were reminded that God is moving, often in ways that cannot be measured, but He is also changing lives from the inside out. God continued to open doors in unexpected ways. After having our Passion 4 Presence booth at General Conference in Nova Scotia this past May, we were invited by the General Superintendent of the PAONL to bring our ministry booth to the Newfoundland District General Conference. Since the conference dates didn't line up with our ferry schedule, the Chair of our Board, Rev. Terry Grimes, graciously hosted the booth on our behalf. We are so grateful for his willingness to serve. Throughout our time in Newfoundland, God faithfully used Passion 4 Presence to bring hope, encouragement, and fresh fire wherever He sent us. We are already making plans to return next year and are excited to see how God continues to prepare hearts and open doors across the province. New Brunswick As we made our way home through New Brunswick, we had the privilege of returning to the church of the pastor we had shared dinner with just weeks earlier. He had sensed the Lord leading him to host a service for his congregation, and we were honored to spend the evening encouraging the church, ministering to the congregation, and believing together for all that God has in store for their community. It was a special way to bring our East Coast journey full circle. SUPPORTING CHURCHES. SPARKING PASSION Looking Ahead We returned home humbled, grateful, and full of expectation. Because of your partnership, we are able to go wherever God calls, encourage local churches, build up pastors, and share the hope of Jesus. As we already begin planning next year's East Coast trip, we are believing that the seeds planted this summer will continue to bear fruit and that God will once again go before us, preparing hearts and opening doors for His Kingdom.
