When I was a child in the 1980s one of the major joys of my life was going to the local library for story time. The kids from the neighborhood would be treated to songs, stories, and fun times with a lovely grandmotherly figure named Mrs. Fossette. She knew just the right books to quench our young curiosities and made it fun.
Recently I was listening to a leftist news outlet and was shocked and rather frightened by the fact that drag queens were allowed to lead out children’s story hours.
So what boils my potatoes about this? Unlike when I was a youngster in the 1980s kids aren’t allowed time outside, but drag queens are allowed to read to them. Have I entered opposite land?
