NATURE NOTES: LOTS OF IT EVERYWHERE

A mourning dove sure had a lot to say at 2:00 in the morning the Friday into Saturday of the Victoria Day weekend.

Heard a Baltimore oriole at Mom's a few Sundays ago.

Was hearing the wrens in my backyard this past Monday.

Mom had a baby bunny on her front porch Wednesday night. Her youngest cat was quite interested in the little rabbit. Then he disappeared.

Today my aunt had a teenage bunny out back eating her garden.

Saw a turkey vulture scavenging on the road Tuesday afternoon.

Out in the backyard a couple weeks ago there were lots of bats around. One flew so low over my head I heard its wings.
